I am a lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia. My research interests fall into the general fields of natural language processing and evolutionary computation, although I also have a keen interest in logical reasoning and programming languages. I currently teach several courses and supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation projects.

I previously worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, working on the STANDUP (System to Augment Non-speakers Dialogue Using Puns) project.

My PhD work investigated the use of evolutionary algorithms to generate meaningful poetry, i.e. texts that conveyed a given semantics whilst satisfying simple poetic features at the surface.
